TIGER is a portable gas detector that uses Photo-ionization technology to detect a large range of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) which can be dangerous from both a poisoning and explosive perspective.The TIGER uses a Photo-Ionization Detector (PID) to measure gas concentrations. The patented fenceel ectrode technology minimises the effects of moisture and contamination, avoiding the need for compensation.

A revolutionary hand-held detector, Tiger Select has two basic modes ofoperation capable of detecting total aromatic compounds (TACs) without thetube attachment, or benzene with the Draeger pre-filter tube.Utilising the high output Ion Science 10.0 eV detection system, a reading fortotal aromatic compounds (TACs) is seen immediately on start-up. Should aromatics be detected, a Draeger benzene pre-filter tube can be easily attached to ensure rapid detection and selective measurement of benzene.Tiger Select can also provide 15 minute short term exposure limits (STELs) and 8 hour time weighted averages (TWAs) for TACs.
